With a shared passion for inspiring creative expression and individuality around the world, Vans and The Museum of Modern Art collaborate on a footwear and apparel collection highlighting works by celebrated artists from MoMA’s collection. Featured in this collection is Impressionist CLAUDE MONET (French, 1840-1926) who began painting outdoors in the 1860s, trying to capture the ever-changing nature of the landscape at different times of day and in different conditions. Among his most well-known works are large-scale paintings of the water lilies at his home in Giverny.
