The design of the horns and stand: The three horns were chosen to be somewhat of the similar shape and size, and they were given matching, custom designs. The name of each horn is written on them in runes. The stand is handforged in iron and comes in the shape of three snakes rising from a shield buckle, encircling each horn and keeping them in place. Each horn was also accompanied with a bottle of Grimfrost's Mead, one taste for each horn.
The spirit of the horns: In Norse Mythology, these vessels contained the Mead of Poetry. This legendary beverage made anyone who drank it a skald or a scholar wise enough to "recite any information and solve any question".
