Approximate measurements are: the base of ring width is 6mm, top of ring width is 22.5mm thickness of 7.8mm at top, 2.4mm at base and an average weight approximately 25g.

Each ring is cast undersized and then sanded three times on the inside to reach the fine metal finish below the casting surface. The ring is then stretched to the exact size requested. There are as many as 17 steps in the finishing of a BWL ring.
